Browns or Dolphins are the worst 2 teams this year for me and 1 of them will draft them if can. Don't care that the Fins have Tannehill. Rookie wage scale makes just fine to have 2 QB's. Plus Barkley is much better.

I'd have to disagree, no matter how humorous you're Avy is to me. Not so much about the cost but because the Dolphins have a lot of needs. Unless they fire Ireland and get a new GM, he has to be in love with Tannehill enough to give him more than one year and get him some weapons.

That's not saying much. Bradford was terrible last year. You can't tell me that they won't strongly consider taking Barkley (or another QB) if they end up with the top pick. I don't recall what Bradford's salary goes up to next year, but it's a lot.

The Rams were terrible last year and honestly, I could not care less what Bradford or the Rams did last year. Bradford has the tools to be an excellent NFL QB. So, I don't see Fisher or the Rams organization playing for Barkley or being bad enough to even get close to drafting him.

I was talking hypothetically. If the Rams get last place then wouldn't that probably mean Bradford had another bad season? For a team that has drafted 2nd over all three times and 1st over all once in the past 5 years you would hope that your 1st over all pick could get it together by year 3. In this scenario Bradford either takes a pay cut or they draft another QB. He can't afford another bad season. That's all I'm saying.

Got it - In that case, then yea, some evaluations would have to be made and if it were discovered that Bradford was the weak link then decisions regarding his future with the Rams would likely be made.

Like you said, it's probably not going to happen. Still, i wouldn't rule it out as a possibility.

I agree that the Chiefs are far too talented to be in position for Barkley. As Clyde pointed out they were down Flowers and Hali (two pro bowlers), not only that but Flowers' main back up at CB was out that game so they were stuck with the 4th string CB starting. Add Kendrick Lewis to that equation and you can see where this is going.

Chiefs will be a threat to win that division this year, yet I still think they will be looking for a new QB next offseason. I don't have a lot of faith in Cassel, Quinn or Stanzi and I don't think anyone here in Chiefs' land do either.

Do you expect the Bill to trade up are you predicting that they will be the worst team in the league?

That Defense is far too talented right now (all though it may take a year or 2 to put it all together). Their Defense, running game, and the fact that they get the Dolphins twice this year should get them at least 6 wins IMO.

I do think they will be one of the worse teams in the league. I could be wrong but I just don't see them winning too many games. Especially with Fred Jackson out for a bit, I think things will get worse and worse for them. I know that CJ Spiller is a great back up and probably should be the starter but it is just a matter of time before they start stacking the box. Also they lost David Nelson for the year who was a big target for them last season.

The odds against them are mounting up as we speak.

Fitzpatrick is really going to be the difference. He's going to have to limit his int's and make better reads than he has been since the second half of last season. Gailey is most likely gone after this year, but personally i don't think they are even close to being the worst team.

...another crap quarterback from USC

Feel free to add

Matt Cassell
Mark Sanchez (yes I know he played well last week, but QB is and what has been holding this team back the last 3 years)

Ok, now I have to come to Sanchez' defense again. This is not true at all. He got his team to the freekin' AFC championship game his first 2 seasons in the NFL. His numbers in the postseason in both of those years were great. He had ONE bad season (2011), but so did Phillip Rivers, and he was arguably the best QB in the NFL over the span of 5 years.

Sanchez has had a great start to his career despite a poor 2011 season.

Cassell, on the other hand, is not good. Giving him that contract and trsding for him was about as uninspired and impatient as signing Fitzpatrick long term. Moves like those cripple a franchise.

Very arguable.

Sanchez isn't terrible. He has his ups and downs, but he has a great OL and Defense behind him. Alex Smith took us to the championship game last year, yet i don't think that solidified him as the first over all pick. Yes, Sanchez was 5th over all, but they traded up to get him. I'm still undecided on Sanchez. He's had a good start thus far so we shall see.

I think the point in putting the Chiefs on this list is being missed. Yes, the Chiefs have talent at a lot of position but QB play has been erratic. Matt Cassel's stats has not been good except in the 2010 season where his TD-INT ratio was 27-7. He went 16-16 in 15 games in 2009 and 10-9 in 9 games in 2011 before being injured. Last week he threw 1 TD and 2 INT. If the Chiefs does not reach the post season this year, they are liable to look for an upgrade in the QB position. Their record might not put them in the top 5 of the draft but with the Rookie salary scale, it's not inconceivable that the Chiefs might trade up to get Barkley like what the Redskins did to acquire RGIII.

So if Barkley is the #1 pick overall, does it look like the Raiders are the favourites to take him? I hope so.

I didn't know you were a big Raiders fan. You're cheering for them just as much as you do for the niners. Interesting!
