I saw something on that at WEEI yesterday.

He's going to get Collins-ed.

I think his not starting last week was more to see how things looked if he wasn't out there. Granted it was only the Aints but their offense is halfways decent.

They need either a decent pass rusher or a better than average linebacker for him.

Possibly, but I'll defer to sample size with Malcolm even though I've never thought he was elite or anything.

i think butlers very good. hes not revis in his prime or anything. he has a high motor and hes smart. they did the same thing with jamie collins last year if you recall.

how did that work out?

seen this a few times before.

Badly in terms of process.

Better be getting a player back. Kendricks from the Eagles seems like a logical piece from the Eagles end considering he is perpetually involved with the rumor mill.

uh, they won a SB after cutting "the most dynamic defensive player on the team". that was my point.

they won after letting chandler jones go.

they have proven you dont need an elite pass rush to win rings, multiple.

they will move on from butler too.

lather, rinse...you know.

Hopefully they do. Seattle should pick him up and put him at WR so they can actually have a a player catch something in the end zone.

Oh God, I think I just roasted my team, Uhhhhh.... :bolt:

I can lose weight by starving myself, but that doesn't make it a good strategy per se even if losing weight is generally good.

we are talking about winning superbowls, not losing weight.

That would imply that there is a "bad way" to win a Super Bowl like there are "bad ways" to lose weight.

3. The league’s Halloween trade deadline is less than six weeks away, and I expect teams will call on the availability of Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler. He didn’t start Sunday against the Saints, and his playing time was cut in the same way Jamie Collins’ minutes were last October, before New England dealt him to Cleveland. Sometimes, contract situations can get in players’ heads, and Bill Belichick showed last year with Collins that he won’t hesitate to move on.

He's sulking from his "treatment" this off season and how much they dished out to Gilmore.

Can't sulk on a team coached by Little Bill.....
bill doesnt like pouters. butler owes more to the pats than the pats owe butler. he'd still be at popeyes if not for a wide eyed scout who insisted he could play in the nfl.
