So... AC crapped out yesterday, hot as fuck in the house, had a tech out today who told me what I suspected was correct, blower motor is out, my home warranty company is fucking me on this so I have to flip the bill myself. Not sure if I told y'all this or not but Elijah and his mother are going to be living here because I have a nice big house that i'm living in by myself and to be honest I just love the idea of him being here although his grandmother, my ex Emily will probably be here all the time too so it's all not all wonderful news. I am just worried I won't have this fucking thing fixed before they release him so it's been a hugely stressful day not to mention my office is upstairs and it was every bit of 90 degrees all day up there, only 84 downstairs though!!!

Yeah that's crazy. I don't know how you guys survive out there with that heat without a functioning AC. Near SF on the peninsula, no one has AC because it rarely gets above 70 in the city. 70 degrees in SF is a beach day. But like 5 days out of the year it gets insanely hot for no reason. Last year there was a heat wave where it was 106 in the city, which is pretty much unfathomable. Those were the roughest 5 days of my life last year, especially with the kids. We went out and bought fans specifically for those 5 days and just kept it running non stop. Never dipped below 90 in the house though.

That's awesome that you'll have a little one in the house. He'll keep you up at nights but it'll be worth it being able to play with the kid.
