Let's examine the first line of your post.

2.50 or below... So if we look at the meaning of 2.50 or below would that include numbers higher than 2.50?

I learned a lot about Addie Joss today. He died 2 days after his 31st birthday from Meningitis. The first actual All Star game was played in 1911 to help raise money for Joss' wife after Addie's passing. Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker, Ty Cobb and others played in the game.

Joss was actually a sports columnist while he was playing.

To get into the Baseball Hall of Fame a player must have played 10 years in the league to qualify. That rule was set aside for Joss who only played 9.

Something else you probably didnt know. Kirby Puckett and Addie were 2nd cousins. Kirby was born in Chicago, Addie in Wisconsin. It’s a small world
