I hear some would have preferred Vivint Center or Vivint Arena - the Smart Home part is burdensome on the tongue, especially when their own adds and marketing don't put it in there because it's too long.

I agree.

I feel the same about the Kraft "Fight Hunger" Bowl. I'm not sure how a CFB game really helps fight hunger.

Or the Kelloggs Frosted Flakes Reduced Sugar Little League World Series. I understand Frosted Flakes Reduced Sugar is a specific variety of Frosted Flakes.

But how about the name just be Kelloggs Frosted Flakes LLWS, but they air commercials for the Reduced Sugar variety?

Vivint Center/Arena/Pavilion/Stadium is fine.

If so, I wish you would have said something.

I didn't know they were going to change the name and I didn't know about Vivint. I might have products from them somewhere, but I've never seen the logo before in my house.

If Vivint contributes to the in-arena fan experience, then I will warm up to it even more.

It sounds like they will do something for the in-arena experience. As long as it's not cheesy, but actually beneficial, then that will be good.
