If the Rams go OT at 19, Latham and Guyton will be there. I'd take Mims over these two. If not, they will go Defense probably DB.

This guy will def be around in the 1-3 rounds. Alot people think he is as good as Alt and Fashanu.

.
Georgia image
Amarius Mims*, OT, Georgia
Height: 6-7. Weight: 330.
Projected 40 Time: 4.88.
Projected Round (2024): 1.

1/6/24: In terms of physical talent, Mims would be up there with the likes of Marvin Harrison Jr. as having the best pure skill set of all the players in the potential 2024 NFL Draft class. However, some NFL team sources said they believe Mims’ lack of playing experience and having missed time with injuries in 2023 could cause him to be a pick in the back half of the first round in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Mims missed a significant portion of the 2023 season with an ankle injury, but he was outstanding both before and after getting hurt. He then went down again in the first half of the SEC Championship Game with another injury. Team sources wanted to see more violence and nastiness from Mims, which he was showing. Back in 2022, Mims put together a dominant performance against Ohio State, destroying and toying with its hyped-up defensive ends. There is no doubt that Mims has an elite and rare skill set.
9/1/23: Mims was a backup and rotational player for Georgia, but he could become a star in 2023. Manning right tackle for Georgia, Mims is a giant monster who has very little body fat and is a unique physical specimen with size, speed and athleticism. Team sources say Mims has 11.2-inch hands and 36-inch arms, as well as quickness. They call his physical body similar to Tyron Smith’s. NFL team evaluators say they want to see Mims get more physical and nasty in 2023 because he plays like the big kid on the playground who doesn’t want to hurt anybody. Mims has a great skill set could be a star and fast riser for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Here is another guy on the D-line that could be "trained" into becoming a good player.

.
LSU image
Maason Smith**, DT, LSU
Height: 6-6. Weight: 315.
Projected 40 Time: 5.05.
Projected Round (2024): 1-3.

1/13/24: Smith was suspended in Week 1 and collected 27 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two passes defended in 2023. He did not look like the dynamic interior defender he was before and might need some more post-injury recovery prior to returning back to his earlier form. Smith flashed his old self, but was inconsistent. He should have returned for his junior year to put together a bigger season, as it would have given him a better shot at being a first-rounder in 2025.
8/19/23: Smith was a dynamic freshman for the Tigers in 2021, and the former five-star recruit made an instant impact for them, recording four sacks and 19 tackles. There was a ton of hype coming from LSU that he was poised to have a monster 2022 season, but he suffered a torn ACL in the season opener against Florida State and missed the year. The 6-foot-5, 298-pounder has excellent size and length with the upside to build on his fantastic debut. Smith could break out and dominate in 2023.

I think he's in that 1st round mix. He's played both LT and RT. Nicked up this year, was surprised he declared.

I like the Jaheim Bell picks in both versions. Big WR/receiving TE similar to Okonkwo or Likely. Replaces what they seem to have lost (at least for one season) in Higbee.

I think Higbee may be done.

His production dropped off this year, and coming back from ACL/MCL surgery won’t make him better at his age.

Basically guaranteed contract for 2024 and 2025.

38 fewer targets will hurt those stats (as will missing 2 games). Otherwise, his stats haven't dropped off at all really.

Has Stafford even mentioned retirement?

I think he could play late into his career like Rodgers.

Only to refute reports that he might retire. Big money locked in for at least the next 2 seasons, then less than half guaranteed for the 3rd.

Tried another mock, went offense early with some surprise players available (PFN simulator). They don't have comp picks included yet apparently, since I see other results above with more selections.

19. Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
52. Patrick Paul, OT, Houston
83. Devontez Walker, WR, North Carolina
147. MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC
148. Tykee Smith, S, Georgia
173. Ja'Quan Sheppard, CB, Maryland

Could see the Rams getting one of these QBs in the 2nd or 3rd. A lot of good QBs coming out this year. Maybe they trade up a bit. We need Morris to get hired as a HC and get more picks

Rams need an elite edge rusher a kicker and a deep threat receiver.

Rams are bringing back Tanner Brown but I think Maher is the guy since he spent some time with Mason Crosby!

Dude: Stafford emphatically declared, the week before the SF game, that he was coming back and McVay has since corroborated the declaration!
