7 straight wins and I think 16-3 in our last 19.
8-2 with Luka.
8-2 with Luka.
Against the Pelicans.....he isn't doing that vs a team with a really good C.Holy Cow, Hayes has 19 points. We don't need no stinking Center.
Hayes had 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Hayes has show flashes before but never been able to maintain it.I think something many people didn't consider when all the horsecrap about Luka started floating around was how much(much like LBJ) he elevates players that he plays with. They talk about Dallas having good 5's in Gafford and Lively, and I like both kids. But pretty much all they had to do was catch lobs and dunk them. I heard all about how terrible Jaxson Hayes was and how the Lakers couldn't win with him at the 5. How many times before Luka got here has he gone 8-8 for 19/10? It was ALWAYS going to work
Yeah he did. But it's a lot easier to be consistent when youre going against air lolHayes has show flashes before but never been able to maintain it.
Len. Reddish can defend at times even though he isn't in the rotation right now. There are reports that the Lakers want to move Goodwin to a standard contract and to do that, a roster spot has to be created. The two likelies to go are Reddish and Len. Probably Reddish first, is my guess.
He going to be a FA and prolly getting a small raise off his current contract. But, he is really a solid backup for 15-20mpg. Not a true starting C on a good team. He is all we have right now.Yeah he did. But it's a lot easier to be consistent when youre going against air lol

Jamison can backup Hayes.
I think you are spot on, UK and even Redick and the lakers are now pleasantly surprised just how good a player Luka is and how he does indeed evelvate everyone's game including James'.I think something many people didn't consider when all the horsecrap about Luka started floating around was how much(much like LBJ) he elevates players that he plays with. Yes Sir. I'm a closet Lakers fan now because Luka is one of my favorite players ever. It's unbelievable Nico woupd trade him, for ANY package. All the cheap shots about his weight...dude was HURT. He led the league in minutes last season and got stronger as the playoffs went on. It's a joke. He's starting to get his legs back under him. I think one of the really big benefits the Lakers will see from this is LBJ strongly considering sticking around an extra year or two at a high level as his workload difficulty is gonna be way downI think you are spot on, UK and even Redick and the lakers are now pleasantly surprised just how good a player Luka is and how he does indeed evelvate everyone's game including James'.
A similar, but to a lesser degree of what DFS has done for the Defense which is now way better than has been since maybe when Frank Vogel was around.
I think their year will be next year. I think they have a smart coach and two super smart players. Given an offseason, they will figure a lot out. I think there isn't a team in the west that wants to see them this spring thoughOh I think you are spot on with LBJ thinking about re-upping for at least another year, UK. I think everyone is beginning to see the potential of a chacne at a championship in the next two years.
