That is all spot on, Shopson. The Lakers are doing just what you posted, for the most part. Goodwin and Jemison played alot more minutes last night against the ClipJoint and they will probably continue to be first choices along with Vincent going forward.

Although, Kokolo and Len are the odd men out at Center right now, they will probably be used sparingly going forward because Redick's approach is to develop what he has (everybody at his disposal) and that is a good approach that is paying dividends right now.

That approach will pay even bigger dividends going forward because injuries start showin'-up right about now (past the halfway point in the season) like with Hachimura and Reaves who need to sit for a couple of games. You want to be as healthy as possible going into the post-season.

The Lakers are going into a tough stretch of games over the next 2-3 weeks. Several back-to-backers coupled with playing every other day. They will have to manage James' minutes in conjunction with getting Doncic in better shape as he demonstrated last night.

It is going to test the Lakers and Redick but because of Redick's approach, I think the Lakers will do well.

Bron and Doncic is a better 1-2 punch than Bron and AD....and I never thought I would say that.

But, I also (as well as everybody else in the universe) never thought we would be able to trade for Luka....LOL.

I hear ya on the re-typing. I agree DJ. James and Doncic and with the third Reaves have become a scoring force. They actually feed off of each other. The other nice surprise is our Defense is getting way better and the combo of DFS/Hayes/Hachimura with back-up from Jemison/Len/Vanderbilt is really producing a very good defense. Who knew??

Exactly. Everyone is getting rebounds, blocking shots, and getting steals even James, Reaves, Doncic, Goodwin, and Vincent are playing D. A great surprise and it is paying dividends. I would like to think a lot of this is coming from the example set by DFS and Vanderbilt but I have no real evidence.

Good News. We may see Maxi Kleber return before the end of the regular season. That is another 6-10, 6-11 Center the Lakers can use to improve the Center position, eliminating the immediate need for a Center and trading another player in the summer the Lakers don't need to trade.

They still need to add somebody since Hayes will be a FA. And he won't be returning for the vet minimum if he still shows improvement.

Sounds like you have sleep apena, DJ. I got diagnosed about a year ago during a DOT physical. Couldn't get my BP down and I was always tired. Since I have been wearing the mask every night, I have gone from 3-6 stop-breathing events per 8 hours of sleeping to 0.2 and I always wake-up rested like have not had for nearly 3-4 decades. I have to continue wearing the mask hooked to my Better Sleep machine until September 2025, but my doctor's disgnoses has been life changing.
