That's 120 mill of the cap towards Bron and AD.

The next 3 years the cap will go from 136M (this season) to 141, 155, and 170. Bron's cap hit would be big, but his percentage of the cap will drop each year (especially those last two years).

I wouldn't get your hopes up. If that ends up being Trae, I don't see a lot of improvement. Zero perimeter defense still. If they can get Mitchell, sure. I'm still interested in Murray if the price is reasonable.

They still don't have a lot to offer though. 3 firsts (of which 2 are around 2030) and guys like Rui/Vincent/DLo (if he's re-signed/picks up his option) and maybe AR in the right deal. No desirable young prospect types (unless you include Christie), no expected lottery picks this decade, etc.

I quite sure you are aware that picking amongst FAs right now is pretty slim. Granted, there may be more options later but when do they get fresh talent of their own like OKC is doing right now? At some point, trying to feast off of other teams' cast-offs can become counter-productive because they have not kept the storehouse stocked with assets.
