Yea I agree and the Lakers should not trade for LaVine! Just let the present roster gel and they will be fine for the season! If the Bulls want to trade with the Lakers, the Lakers should send them Vincent and a protected Second Rounder!
The only potential positive I can see from acquiring Lavine would be a potential partner for AD when Lebron decides to move on and/or retire. However, I don't see Lavine/AD as being a good enough base to really be a threat.

For the current squad, sure he could provide a #2 scoring option to take some nightly pressure off of AD, but he's a volume shooter and won't have those opportunities with the Lakers. He doesn't do enough else IMO to make the move. I would rather make moves around the margins, find some better role player fits if possible. Reaves shouldn't be at PG IMO, this team needs what they thought Vincent could be. I think they should try more Christie with Prince's shooting struggles as well.

It was nice to JHS in uniform on the sideline last night, but he's got a lot of trust to earn to get meaningful minutes. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get some South Bay time first.

Lakers by four and the Lakers don't need to trade for any Bulls player. The Lakers will eventually get better at shooting and making three pointers.
If anything, a much smaller move for someone like Carter to play backup PG could make some sense.

I agree Shopson on more Christie playing time. We don't need LaVine for the very reasons you stated. That trade or any other "big named" trade is going backwards for the Lakers. Your solution is better. Move Vincent, play more Christie and JHS, and get on with gelling the present roster.

Reaves finally came alive last night and he helped us win that game especially late in the Fourth Quarter when everyone was beginning to miss and he hit that Three! Hachimura is becoming a force and he had a good game as well. Wood was off, so was Hayes! They will get there.

Continuing to disrupt roster continuity is not what is needed. In fact, many of the players were complaining on a lack of cohesion. Trading guys and bring-in new people only slows the process to cohesion. Just look what happens to the Lakers when somebody gets hurt like Vanderbilt and is not around.

Nope, Pelinka needs to just stop all of the guessing and leave it alone!!

DRus for the three!! Why would we want to trade this guy or even Hachimura?!
Trading Hachimura would be a huge mistake.

They need a guy like him off the bench.

You could make a case for trading Russ given us playoff woes, but would need to be a similar skill set player.

Nah, I'd keep them all. DRus needs a team to commit to him. He works well with either Reaves or Reddish and he is beginning to have consistent big nights. Nobody out there is going to do better at this point because the Lakers are beginning to develop cohesion. Something they all claimed was missing just a few weeks ago.
