I mentioned yesterday that I think he will get play in LF. They seem to be taking turns with guys. One thing is for sure, Calhoun SHOULD be spending most of his time on the bench.

I wonder if Smith will get some time in CF as well.

Jung, Smith and Duran will all have long MLB careers, I think. Of all the young guys who have played for us this year, or are about to play for us, I think those three will have the best careers.

I am not sold on Smith yet. He looked overpowered on some ABs against some pitchers. He is young so hopefully he is adjusting. If Leody has got CF intact that limits Josh. LF is still open in my opinion

i think you're right but 1 or maybe 2 of them will have that career with another team thru a trade for pitching.

It is really unfair to judge a young guy that early, especially when he isn't afforded the opportunity to play himself out of a slump.

Look how long Seager and Semien struggled and they have lots of experience. Look how many big league at bats it took Leody to look good.

Just said not sold which means I am still assessing. All players have some kind of chance whether up here or at the minors

Josh S strengths are baseball IQ out in the field and on the bases. He looks very versatile defensively. I have not seen his power yet as being MLB level but yeah it is early. He looked overmatched getting around with some elite pitching just as some other Rangers have.

I would hope he develops into a leadoff hitter Yiu have to be real good to make it on a championship squad. If this was last year he probably be starting the whole year but offensively we are better
