This team never won 11 games under Dan Snyder. It took Josh Harris one year.

Josh Harris got the team so late that he could not implement the changes but his 1st year record was 4-13 which worked out well because they were able to draft some QB from LSU.

You can tell yourself he was not 4-13 but the record book will say he was. He made the decision to play with with what he had without any changes.

In year two he rebuilt the FO and coaching staff and they improved the team to 7 maybe 8 more wins. That is impressive.

I do think he was behind the Sweat and Chase trades. I also belive (no proof) he was behind Brissett having a "hamstring issue" all of the sudden, when the #2 pick was starting to slip away.

Maybe right. "Trust the process" with the 76ers was in part to suck until they got a high draft pick which ended up being Embid.

I thought of this after I had already made my last post. Harris's Devils hockey team implemented the "trust the process" method. They were real bad until they got the 1st overall pick and drafted Jack Hughes who has helped turn the team around.

Chase and Montez have each recorded 5.5 sacks this year. They weren't worth paying but they did give Washington more shots in the draft which helped turned the team around.

Harris has been unbelievable. Did you see the condition of the field Sunday night? It looked like opening day. Usually the field was brown and just a bunch of dirt by December. Dan literally spent no money on FedEx.

I didn't mean to sound negative about Harris. He was the guy I was hoping would become the owner. My only regret is that he hasn't changed the name of the team yet.

No, I didn't take it that way. Technically you are right. This is year two. I don't see Commanders going anywhere. As long as the merch is selling.....I just don't see it. If it's not going to be Redskins, I'm not even sure I'm ready to wrap my head around a 4th name. Time will tell I guess.

I think he will. The name is the last vestige of Snyder and needs to be changed. But he can't go back to the Redskins. It would just draw the wrong attention to a young and promising team.

Although I would love for it to go back to Redskins I would be okay that in some way relates to Native Americans.

Commanders came the turd Snyder and Igor Rivera. I'll always hate it.

There is only 1 real answer: Washington Warriors with the original logo back on the helmet.

The chief featured in the Washington Redskins logo was John Two Guns White Calf, the last chief of the Piegan Blackfeet in Montana:

  • Who he was
Born in 1872, White Calf was a prominent figure in Washington who represented tribes and fought to preserve Native American culture. He was also the adopted son of Chief White Calf and became the last chief of the Blackfoot Tribe after his father's death in 1903.
