Robert Griffin III will merely get to sit on one of the seats in NYC...........and we'll again honor the idea that a player must be on at least a 1-loss team.

It is the worst award in all of sports. The award has no meaning. It's fake.....and it sucks.

RG3 is the best player this season............end of story.

Honey Badger.

But seriously, the Heisman has already been tainted.

He's a beast, but I think if they want to hold on to the last bit of respect & dignity the Heisman has, they shouldn't invite anyone who was suspended during the season. Especially for a drug offense.

Here's the thing though. They always use this excuse though of "well we look at how much impact a player has on a team's season."

LSU is undefeated without Mathieu.......
Alabama has 1-loss without Richardson......

Stanford and Baylor...........LMFAO.............they are nowhere near where they're at right now without their QB's.

Baylor has a 1st round caliber receiver, a solid running back, and one of the best lines in America. Stanford has the best tight end in the country, a very good RB, and another one of the best lines in America. Judging schools by their names and not the talent they have is pretty ironic considering that you are condemning Heisman voters for voting on the name and not the talent.

PS: RG3 has a very good shot to win the Heisman. The winner will be him or Richardson, and it will be very close. It's not like he has zero shot to win, like so many are making it sound. He was in 2nd or 3rd in every major Heisman poll last week, and that was before he went off on a good defense.

I agree it's gonna come down to RG3 and Richardson, who's last game were they more impressed with? Both were impressive, RG3 threw for over 300 yards, 2 TD's and rushed for 2 more, while Richardson rushed for over 200 yards and caught a TD pass against a defense that isn't good at all, but they made it clear all week that they were coming to stop one player, and that player was Richardson.

It's gonna be close, I think RG3 is definitely deserving of the Heisman, but I'm rooting for Trent. If not TR, then I wouldn't be upset seeing a guy like RG3 take it home.
