I haven't really been following the M's this year as I damn near lost it when they didn't even interview La Russa for Chukie's spot but I've been calling for this guy to get DFA'd for years. I think it was back in April or May of 2012 (could have been 2013 I really don't remember) there was someone on the ESPN board who actually tried to argue with me about it. Some interesting people on there. Too bad I can't bump it.

Look, I'm as stoked as everyone else that Noesi is gone (for now) but my question is, what was the point of putting him on the roster in the first place if you're cutting him 4 games in?

They probably didn't expect to have to use him in close games.

Guessing Lloyd wanted to but Z demanded to keep him and Lloyd gave him one shot with a close game. The other outing was expected since he was long relief for blowouts.

I actually applaud the way we DFA'd him so quickly in the season. I feel like in the past we would wait forever to rid ourselves of players who needed to go.
