Honestly? No idea. I suspect though it might be due to a sports magazine show that Channel 4 here in the UK used to show in the 90s called Trans World Sport that I watched when I was a kid. They had NFL highlights on there (along with all sorts of other things, which is probably why I'll watch pretty much any sport) and, being the early to mid 90s a lot of that would have been Marino.

The announcers talking about Deshaun Watson, but I still don't get why any team would want him at this point. He's not played for a year, has all sorts of shit hanging over him and the alternative for Miami is on a Rookie contract and has played okay. Keeping Tua as the QB is a no brainer to me at this point, but then Miami making strange player decisions is not exactly uncommon.
