Palmeiro wags his finger in D.C. and lies to everyone. Cheater

McGwire says he was not there to talk about the past. Cheater

Sosa all of a sudden needs a lawyer to translate for him. Cork anyone? Cheater

Canseco rats out players in a book. Douche ...but he got the wheels going on cheaters. Oh yea Cheater

Bonds and Balco...Cheater and he did'nt have to cheat. Sad

Melky Cabrera Skips town without saying a word to teammates and sets up a phony web site. Sits out for 50 games but signs a new contract for good bucks with Toronto.

Arod Wow this has been going on for a while and he continues to start for NY. Cheater

Braun Fails a test and blames a working man trying to do his job and wins a challenge. Gets on the mic , dances and shakes his finger at MLB for screwing up his test. Now he says he is sorry after accepting a deal losing only a drop in the bucket...still set to collect a cool what 90 Mill. One of the biggest douche bags in baseball history. Good luck in Milwaukee selling his jersey.

It just keeps on coming and the fans seem to be sick and tired of all the B.S. PED stuff. There are plenty more to add to the list. I am tired of writing names down. After hearing how the fans are booing Arod it sounds like we all have had enough. Will it ever end? Please God let it end.

P.S. Please no more press conferences waving fingers and making threats. It's bad enough how some of these players have no integrity at all but to stand up and wag their fingers and then get caught does more damage than the cheating. Baseball , the fans and especially the kids deserve better.

I'll be honest I could care less about steroids in the steroid era. They didn't test them and players used them, so who's to blame? The MLB for not testing or the players for using. When everyone is using your obviously going to use to keep up. When you get paid millions of dollars and someone else is cheating, you cheat back to keep doing your job the best you can. Might not be right, but it is what it is.

In 2013 I have a different view on cheaters as I'd so a lot of the MLB is clean and at an unfair advantage. It wasn't like that before testing.

:agree:

If a player was using in 2004 or before IMM Oh well.

But anybody that has been caught since then, give them the max they can under the rules.

Dude do you really think guys are not juicing anymore. I think MLB only tested like 5% of the players last year and the cheaters are getting smarter and this souped up testosterone stuff can be used and out of the body in like 24 hours. It's still a problem ...it might be getting better but until these players lose all of their big contract money the temptation to cheat is still there. Until the penalties get real strict cheating will continue. Sad.

yes. A Rod shouldnt be playing..
but dam. I thought it was great when he hit it out in center tonight against the red sox.

Yankees came together as a team and beat the red sox. that was chicken shit the way they hit him after throwing behind him. ump should have gave a warning...then he should have been ejected..

I know I have been writing a lot about PED's lately and I can't put my finger on why it bugs me so much.

It might be the injustice to the players who grind especially in the minors to move up and some don't get their shot because someone ahead of them cheated.

The flat out lies that are being told to hide the cheating. This is a big reason here. I know how much kids look up to players and I know these players don't think they are role models . They do affect how some kids think about the game. Maybe the PED problem has turned some kids away from the game looking for other sports.

I like a level playing field and the way some of these players have s#it on the game I love so much has me so worked up that it has taken some of the enjoyment away from my viewing of the game. I now look at a player who is excelling and wonder if he is juicing and that bugs me big time. I never thought about PED's until some of the stories came out in the 90's. It seems now there is a new story almost every week or month and I am fried to the core . I just want to talk about the game and enjoy it fully. PED's just will not go away.

I guess I finally put my finger on it.

This Red Sox fan was majorly annoyed when fans of my team cheered that beaning last night.

I said so on the Red Sox forum if you want to verify my claim.

I saw Doug Griffin get beaned TWICE in consecutive seasons, by Nolan Ryan no less, and
never want to see any more beanings in any game.

FYI, Griffin would probably have won a Gold Glove or two if he hadn't had to retire in his 2nd season
because of the concussions he suffered. He had range you had to see to believe, and was a good hitter for average too.

I hope your team can finish ahead of the Dodgers even if they get swept by my team.

Braun is worse than A-Rod. His case mirrors that of Lance Cheatstrong and now Pujols is starting the bullying and "legal action" intimidation as though he read Cheatstrong's "Manual on How to Delay Being Exposed for Cheating."

Pujols end will be messier than A-Rod's.

And can you even imagine the hype that will surround A-Rod's return in 2015? The day he starts serving the ban he's going to double his doses of everything and not stop til the day he comes back.

Also, it's ironic to me that the two most respectable guys in all of this are Jose Canseco. Canseco told the truth when everyone was reviling him for being a liar and Bonds actually had a decent case in court and exposed the government for being bumbling swine that wasted millions of taxpayer dollars to prove a complete non-point.

I think the 'respectable' ones are the Giambis and the McGwires, the ones that apologize or kinda sorta do and just move on instead of doing the full protest-too-much finger pointing and legal bullshit (Braun, Palmeiro, Clemens, now Pujols (if he turns out to be a user), etc)

I'm not on the high horse at all about roids and PEDs.

But what Braun did. Willingly trying to ruin another man's life just to hide his own lie....

if I ever in my life rooted for a player to suffer a career-ending injury....

it would be him.
