From the article: scoring chances have an r-squared of 0.30. Yes that is better than Corsi at 0.19, but not ridiculously better.

I think I just saw the most lopsided corsi game of the year tonight in Winnipeg. Ducks got dominated for the better part of 55 plus minutes and still got an ot loss.

He doesn't have a cannon like Chara or Weber, but I think his shot is at least average from the point. Thus, I'm going to go with bad luck.
