Bill never coached (HC) a game for the Jets so I don't think he qualifies. If you wanted obscure Jets coaches that went on to be successful you could pick Pete Carroll

Suggestion for your strong safety position, which looks a little soft

Franco Harris was also a Seahawk. Sad that a lot of these retreads come to Seattle. Ha ha.

Or list Belichick as head coach for the Browns where he was terrible, just like he was when Brady left New England. Not saying all his success was Brady...but...

Heh. Deion was OK his only year as a Redskin, but it being a Daniel Snyder move to bring him to the Skins doomed it to for sure failure.

Jason Taylor and Albert Haynesworth as Redskins could certainly qualify for this squad.

Browns had the NFLs #1 defense in 94, they won a playoff game that year.

In the 29 years since, they have one playoff win. He was far from terrible.

Did you put this together yourself?

Awesome work if you did. Great share if not. I didn’t remember a few of these stops.

Yes, I did. I thought of making a team of great players people forgot played for that one team for a year in their careers, pretty much like a trivia team.

Great work putting it together.

A lot of those are stone cold locks for sure.

Shout out to Thurman Thomas and Dan Campbell as HC with the Dolphins.

They didn't exist as a franchise from 96-98 and had to start over, while the Ravens went on to win a Super Bowl.

Not making excuses for them, because they've been one of the worst run franchises since they got back. But they weren't dealt a great hand to begin with.

It’s the Browns.

He had one less win there than Stefanski has. Hard place to win.

Yah but he was actually decent when he went to the Ravens.

Which was funny, because he had been retired for 3 years and his buddies convinced him that he should give it a try.

The opponents respected him so much on punt return, they followed Deion over the actual return man. The guy returned it for a TD since 5 or 6 guys were focused on Deion.

Yah I remember the story too... Ray Lewis reached out to Deion and him and a few guys challenged him to a 'race' and Deion was like, "I'll beat all your asses" or something to that effect... and then he did, lol. And Ray and the other guys from the D were like, "Dude you gotta come back and play with us." and that's what brought him back for a couple years. For a guy retired from football for 3 or so years coming back as a late 30s player, he did pretty damn good.

I mean that was early 2000s... if Ray Lewis signed off on you (which the NFL knew) - you have to respect the guy. Neon Deion was always a threat. Had an INT TD return upon coming back into the NFL like it was nothing. Little Jordan-esque to be honest.
