The Eagles Should Replace the Panthers

No team in the NFC South qualifies for the playoffs. "Division leader" Carolina, 7-8-1, .469, scored 339 points and gave up 374. What a joke! No laggard, sub .500 division leader should be in the playoffs. They should be replaced with the next best team in any division, in this case, the Philadelphia Eagles, 10-6, .625, 474 points vs 400.

The rules are what they are. I am not going to whine about them. Bottom line is the Eagles don't deserve to go to the playoffs, not with the way they finished the year with a whimper.

The Eagles should have handled their business. Carolina will be one and done. They are not a good football team.

We don't deserve to be there any more than Carolina does.....however they won their division....Rules are rules. I have no problem with Carolina making the playoffs, their division sucked and they were the beneficiary of that.

Yeah, rules are rules. We didnt bitch about them when Nrw England got squeezed out a few seasons ago, so we cant bitch about it now.

Three things.

1. We arent winning a ring with these corners

2. We arent winning a ring with either foles or sanchez at QB

3. billy davis pisses his pants in fear, going into cya mode vs good play calling offenses.

Unless all three scenerio's are corrected we arent winning anything anyway. All in all, if we can pry away two corners, resign maclin, cut cooper, replace DeSean jackson and find a decent qb we should dominate next year.

Our beloved Eagles didn't earn a playoff spot this year. It is what it is. We have some work to do to become real contenders.

The Eagles earned a playoff spot much, much more than the Panthers - they won three more games. But reality dictates. So, one less game to watch on the boob tube.
