In other words, we don't know what Clowney has, at least as far as I know. It's not that hard to get really sick, even if you are a healthy athlete.

Allen did miss some games and dropped a lot of weight. But then again he has a few years under his belt in this league and has performed pretty well over that time. I don't think anybody is questioning his toughness.

Nobody has seen Clowney. He seemed to slack off his senior year to avoid injury, he skipped offseason workouts, he's missed all of the season so far and now he's supposedly "healthy" to play and he has an "illness" and won't play. Maybe his first snap back makes every fan of the Texans forget, but as of now, his track record isn't making him look too tough that's for sure.
