Kyle Fuller preferred to leave Chicago for Denver rather than take a pay cut this offseason. While understandable, he might be regretting it.

Now this isn't a 20/20 hindsight "I told you so" reason for posting this. To the contrary, I was amongst the vast majority of Bear fans who were stunned and angry when Kyle was given his walking papers. In fact, I thought it was without question the single worst move by the Bears in the offseason.

But so far after Week 5, the man appears to be struggling with his new team. This isn't to say that Fuller can't right his ship and return to his previous All Pro form. But so far, it apparently hasn't been a bad decision to have parted ways with him.

Watching the Kansas game yesterday. I came to the funny conclusion, it was probably a good thing the Bears did not draft Mahomes. With his glass jaw and our O line, he would have been in IR constantly.
