Yankees checked off two more games from the schedule while maintaining a 9.5 game lead over the Jays.

BTW - the prediction of the year so far.

Heat at 3pm "yankees loss takes a half game off the lead over the Jays and they didn't even play today. A few more like this and we are back in the hunt"

Two hours later -"Yankees lead over the Jays stays at 9.5" Your scorched earth didn't even last three hours!

ok pete.. it's still may. if this were the case july or august i might be singing a different tune. however it's still over 120 games left on the schedule. every single team in the league is gonna lose at least sixty games. and every team will win sixty games. its what you do with the other 42 is what will make or brake your season. so excuse me when i don't worry about how "far back" we are at the present with over 100 games left
