That really doesn't surprise me at all, but after all my time at ESPN it sure is finally nice to be on a website that doesn't allow an individual multiple handles.

It is absolutely mind boggling that i am the only seahawks fan smart enough to see how badly Carroll and Schneider screwed up on this one.

Harvin is the 3rd highest paid WR in the nfl and out of the top 11 salaries he is number 11 for production.

By the end of the season he will probably pass Miles Austin to become the 10th most productive out of the top 11.



I swear to God, if the Hawks paid a RB $10m a year and he averaged 2 yards per carry i would be the only person complaining.

If the Hawks don't win the super bowl you can blame Carroll and Schneider and Harvin for it.

In all seriousness, how do you determine someone is sharing an IP vs recycled dynamic IP's? That was always a tricky thing on the sites I ran. Just curious how you distinguish those.

if that was ever really an issue for you, then you must have run a site that appealed only to a specific region in which nearly everybody from that region posted on your board.

actually I've ran a few sites. None had quite this traffic, but I did have a couple that broke a million page views and I did have more than one case of recycled IP's, although admittedly they were quite some time ago when I believe it was far more common for ISP's to give out a different IP each time a modem was reset. But also more recently those recycled IP's are becoming a bigger problem with cell phones as you can end up with different addys. They do often give 'preferred' IP's, but not always and they can be recycled if you don't use your connection often.
