Been hearing that he was top of Fletcher's list for a buyout for some time now.

IMO, he a decent enough 3rd/possibly 2nd liner, but not at $4M. - Bring it down to about 2.5M & he's worth taking a chance on.

i was really hoping that holland would buy out sammy but it doesn't look like that's happening. and i'm pretty sure that cleary is going to be resigned so the wings are still going to be carrying around lots of dead weight while our overripe prospects continue to be stuck in the minors

I appreciate all that he has done in the past but it is time to let go...I dont think Sammy can be bought out because of his health status. I heard his agent was fighting a potential buyout.l
