Exactly right.

It's something some of us advocated last offseason. They should have - and still should - sign a veteran receiver (not high priced, but also not one that's on his last legs) to pair up next to Green in the short term while Sanu and Jones mature.

The biggest problem right now though is at QB.

I know how this works. They'll stick their heads in the sand regarding Dalton, and they'll stick with their receivers, and they'll bring back Bernard Scott, and they'll stagnate at their present level for a couple of years then go back into decline. It's what they've always done. Mike Brown is the poster child for insanity. He keeps doing the same things over and over expecting results to change.

Except I don't think he expects anything to change. I'm certain he doesn't even care.
