What choice do we have? Is there a QB that will be a FA next year that is markedly better than cousins? Is there a potential draftee that will be ready? IMO, the answer to both of those questions is no. So unless KC completely implodes the next 9 games, I have to believe KC is the QB for next year or two untiL we can draft his replacement and groom him.

You know I'm not a huge Kirk guy for the long term. But we know what Josh McCowan and Brian Hoyer are. There is still room for Kirk to grow. And if there's 2 minutes to go down 6 I know which one of the 3 I want.

I kind of agree (at least on McCown), but its funny to me that they are viewed so differently. In terms of what they are right now its possible Cousins is the worst of the 3.

It is possible that KC is the worst of the three. It's also possible that he turns out to be the best of the three. Why not find Out? Are you really worried that we might lose on on one of the other two? Do you really believe that hoyer or McCown are really leading any team to the playoffs and beyond? If not, then what's the point of trading them for KC?

I never said we shouldnt find out or that we should trade for McCown or Hoyer. Im not some unreasonable hater some people make me out to be.

Kirk Cousins- this is where I put KC in relation to the above players and their contracts. He should get a contract for two to three years, around 5 mil/season, with 2.5 mil/season guaranteed (however we want to structure this).
Brian Hoyer- 2 year 10.5 mil, 4.75 guaranteed






Nick Foles- 2 year 24 m, almost 14 mil in guarantees...they traded for Foles...they wanted Foles. He had a historic period with PHI.

Like many - I don't believe that RG3 is in the future plans for this team. However - having said that I also don't believe that he warrants a lot of the current criticism. He has been pretty much of a model citizen this season - I don't recall him complaining even once & others in similar situations would act much worse.

Enough already with the RGME & similar comments. The guy does a lot of great things for the community & has kept his mouth shut for quite a while. I don't see how folks can really complain about anything RG3 has done this year.
