Wade McGilberry Wins $1 Million for Pitching Perfect Game in MLB 2K10
The 24-year-old Alabama native pitched a perfect game while playing Major League Baseball 2K10. Normally, that ends in a man sitting alone, celebrating on the inside with nobody to tell. Yet when McGilberry recorded out No. 27, it was on the day of the $1 million promotion, and he's now a rich, rich man.
He did so on March 3, but the world hadn't heard about it until Thursday, because the contest ended on May 2.
