In this recent stretch, Draymond Green has a 51 assist to 6 turnover ratio.

I wonder how many players in NBA history have had that kind of a stretch of A/T.

I doubt very many.

What's the most number of games Stockton played in which he only had 6 total turnovers, as a starter?

If I look at consecutive games with 2 or less turnovers:

Starting from the March 14, 2001 game, he played 6 games with a total of 5 turnovers.

He had 7 steals, 10/10 FTs (yes, yes, yes!) and 37 assists.

If I go from 1/27/2001 to 2/03, he had a 5 game stretch with 5 total turnovers, 7 steals, 9/15 FTs ( ), and 44 assists.

If I say 1 or less turnovers, then he had a 5 game stretch from 3/19/2000 to 3/27, with 5 total turnovers, 16 steals, 10/13 FTs, and 50 assists.

If he had been perfect at the foul line, this would have been the best of those 3 stretches.

The 16 steals and 50 assists were there. All he had to do was make his FTs. Sigh.

I never saw him play, but it probably makes sense that he just had terrible hands. Rather than him being "selfish".

Trae Young is having a pretty good rookie year, for most number of 10 assist, 20 point games. He's comparable with Chris Paul, LeBron James, and other notable rookies.

I didn't see Tyreke Evans on that list, but he is probably in that ballpark too, for rookie seasons.

I haven't watched Trae play in a full rookie season, but I hope he has a long, healthy career.

There hasn't been anyone to pin my hopes on, since Michael Carter-Williams. Young doesn't have Carter-William's steals, though.

I haven’t tried 13 assists and eight steals. So there may be a higher cumulative assists and steals. But with steals so high, it’s more impressive.

Wow, I can't believe no one has done that before.

You re-enforced why I had so much hope in him. I keep rooting for another Stockton/Payton/Kidd type assist and steals player. Because those guys have been out of the league for so long, and it's boring without one in the league.

Chris Paul statistically counts, but I've already posted before why I don't like his assists.

Westbrook has actually gotten better at steals lately. But he didn't start out his career as a steals guy.

Ben Simmons also is in that area, but he hasn't clicked with me yet. Maybe he will at some point.

Steph Curry doesn't click with me either.

Antetokounmpo is probably the next Stockton/Payton/Kidd type. I'm happy for that, but always want more players like that.

It would be cool if LeBron James could be among the steals leaderboard.

Rondo was there for a few years. But he didn't have the longevity.
