I watched "Dyatkovo" again last night and I just keep finding things to love about it, and to love/hate about humanity. This is the kind of television that you remember for decades.

It is a shame that Irina Dubova was not nominated for an Emmy for this (Alison Wright got her nod instead) but anyone that saw her performance will never forget it anyway. I am on the verge of tears just writing about it. Even if you don't follow this show, this episode is pretty standalone anyway. Think about giving it 45 minutes of your time.

I would imagine that seeing with Pascha the lengths that a young boy might be willing to go just to personally escape an awful, uncomfortable and totally new and foreign situation will have/is already having a real effect on Philip's concerns.

I didn't think to record this season and we just finished through season 4 which was free with Amazon prime. They want like $40 for season 5 or we wait a year. I might pay it. This show is so good.

Yeah, it did. I haven't noticed the finales until this one because I've been watching it on Amazon Prime and just went on to the next show. I was surprised to find that was it when I got to the end of season 5 last night.

It has its moments, but it gets lost just as often.

I watch it. I like it. But "one of the best shows on TV"? Are you talking top 3? Top 5? Top 15?

The chick that plays Nina is one of the hottest on TV. My personal opinion. I put it in the top 15. There are a lot of really great shows out there. I rarely watch network shows.

Wow. That episode was fantastic. We're in for one hell of a final season. I'm pissed we have to wait! I want it all now.
