I definitely don't think that there are any good endings for him. Best case scenario is probably if he just gets his heart torn to pieces and has no idea why.

That was meant to convey him pondering why she broke up with him. This past week she said she was stressed because of her history paper and he offered to help her.

Once he got out of the Iron Curtain, there wasn't any real reason to drag it out. But they could still delay him meeting Philip for an ep or two if the previews indicate anything.

This fucking show man. I watched "Dyatkovo" this afternoon and well, there goes the rest of my day. I don't have any errands to run or things to do that go along with these feelings. I'll be fine tomorrow, but I'm done for today. Powerful episode.

It speaks to how incredible the script and performances were in that there was no other way that ever could have ended, and yet the audience was almost certainly feeling right up until the end that it might go another way,
