I agree with this. Take 10-12 days out in middle of November to knock out the 4 games each team play in group play then wrap up the tourney a random week in the middle of december for QF, SF, and finals. Would make it better

That would be pretty hard to do because the right teams have to be playing on the exact right days. Too many moving parts and too hard to schedule I would bet. That’s one reason they do it so early, so whoever wins the groups are sure to have games still to play be each other, you don’t know in advance.
