Multiple trade downs with the 1st pick:

2.63: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
3.66: Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State
3.75: Harold Fannin Jr, TE, Bowling Green
3.90: Emery Jones, OT, LSU
3.101: David Walker, Edge, Central Arkansas
6.195: Jack Kiser, LB, Notre Dame
6.201: Tonka Hemingway, DT, South Carolina
6.202: Mello Dotson, CB, Kansas
2026 SF 2nd
Nice draft, but no way Milroe lasts that long

Shough makes no sense for the Rams IMO. He'll be approaching his 30s by the time Stafford retires. He'll be 26 when the season starts, would be 28 if Stafford plays 2 seasons and retires. Plus, he's always falling backwards when throwing, I question how he will handle a pro pass rush.
Dont Know anything about the guy, but I will say the Rams did quite well with another 28 year old QB.

Just saying.

I really don't know what is up with all of this reunion shit but now there are rumors that Anchrum may be on the way back to LA just recently released by the Texans. Go figure!

This one has managed one complete season out of 7 in collegiate ball and has been riddled with injuries.

It’s draft day baby!

I predict the Rams find a trade partner and trade out of the 1st round.

If they don’t trade out, I predict they draft either LB or DB position.

Think draft is deep enough in OL that they can wait and address that later since it’s not an immediate need.

That would be kinda of unique, ALR. Of course we did it with Hoecht. Why not start Anchrum as ILB at 320 plus pounds. lol! Knock the crap out of any RB.

If you have ever wondered how teams make determinations in constructing trades during the Draft, here is your guide to those derivations. Pretty interesting.

That, plus how much the team trading up values the player ( Fiske perfect example ).

Rams were blasted for giving up what they did in the trade. I think it’s safe to say the Rams made the right choice.

On second thought, I feel the Rams really need to hope they can find a trade partner and trade out of the 1st.

If they don’t, they are basically sitting out 2 rounds ( 64 picks ) before they draft again at the end of the 3rd.

That is a lot of talent bypassing them.
