If the ShitferBrains Twins really want to amp their Defense and spend some money, then this is the guy they should trade for going forward. Send Cincinnati a First Rounder in 2025, Cooper Kupp, and a Third Rounder next year for Hendrickson and a Second or Fifth Rounder this year.

The more I look into this deal with Atwell, the more I am stunned and pissed that the two ShitFerBrains Twins are at it again. How could they give this under-used, too-small of a player $10 million guaranteed, when McShitFerBrains hardly uses this guy. If that is the new standard, then bring back Kupp and let him retire as a Ram. For cryin-out-loud!! The very thing that got them into this financial mess corner with Kupp, they are doing again only this time with Atwell!!

Kupp is gone this coming week, either cut or traded. They're not going to pay that roster bonus.

Atwell will have a larger role as a result of Kupp's absence. I think the one year deal is a bridge to whomever they might draft this year, unless they land someone in free agency.

I'm a bit wary. He's going to be 31 and is asking out because he wants a new contract, which the Bengals weren't offering. 30+ pass rushers (especially when the Rams are doing pretty well with their young DL) seems like options for other teams, not the Rams IMO.

The Bengals certainly won't take Kupp, since they're potentially trading Hendrickson to sign their two existing star WRs.

Agreed, it’s just that McVay doesn’t use him enough to justify a fully guaranteed $10M salary.

He'll get more opportunities with Kupp gone. The $$$ might be to get him to agree to a 1 year deal. Rams may be looking to draft his replacement.

Yep, I believe the Rams are not going to sacrifice their First Rounder and potentially Byron Young for an aging EDGE.

For once (maybe), I hope the Rams stay out of this year's weak FA class and save their cap space money for when they will really need it. Perhaps the Twins will see their best chance to add talent and young talent at that, by focusing on the Draft getting the top players in their need areas! Signing anyone of these guys would be a waste of money and would ruin their goal of assembling another Snooperbowl team like the Iggles have done.

Finally, here is what is in play with the Rams and the QB position. The Rams really want Garoppolo back but if he gets a can't-walk-away-from deal elsewhere, then the Rams will call-up a back-up from the list provided. If that happens, then I'd like to see Wentz brought back.

Regarding the draft? Looks like Ewer, McCord, Leonard, and Howard are the top contenders do get selected depending on who is left aft the first two Rounds of the Draft. Good Article.

The Rams should not even consider wasting money on Jonathan Allen at DT when the Draft is loaded with big, fast, badass DTs the Rams could get on the cheap. At least one or two will be available ouside the First Two Rounds.

We saw this hype last year with Christian Wilkins and the big money spent on him by the Raidas. And how did that work-out for the Raidas?

That’s an expensive bridge for a guy that hasn’t done much in the league.

Atwell making more than Chase, Olave and others is very laughable.

Again, signing Atwell to that kind of guaranteed money is a guilt payment from the ShitferBrains Twins because McVay lost Atwell's utility in the scheme of things after he whiffed on a really good Center when we needed one.

So Mcvay is doing a lot of CYA-ing with Atwell in the meantime treating a guy like Kupp who was the Snooperbowl MVP like he is persona non grata dogshit. It boggles the mind of the evident duplicity that the Twins are exhibiting on this matter.

I like the idea of trading down into the Second Round but some of the selection suggestions with article are way-off the mark.

I have mentioned this before and this writer has put it in his article. Trade Kupp straight-up for Joe Milton from the Patriots. Both are available.

There are a couple of players in the list that might fit and could be brought in as FAs if needed, but the majority of them are overpriced. The Rams can get players of the same positions in the draft who may be just as good or better to this list and would be similar to what the Rams got with Verse.

It appears there are a growing list of players who gave their all for the Rams only to be treated like NOW Kupp is being treated similarly to how Earnest Jones and Todd Gurley were treated when they were removed from the Rams. This article exposes McShitferBrains as a insufferable jackass when he decides the team needs to move on from a player.

And why would this HC take that stance? Although McShitferBrains preaches tolerance and the player is a human too, it was the very franchise that gave Kupp this inflexible contract to begin with, that are now treating him like a pile of throwaway dogshit!!

McShitferBrains doesn't want to admit the Rams made a mistake by giving Kupp that bloated contract to himself and others so this is how he handles these self-generated scenarios that continue to eff-over players he wants to rid the team of in any given off-season.
