We scored 22 runs in the first two games in 2000 and in 1998. That was the team record for most runs scored in the first two games of the year. Now this will be the new record.

We scored 22 runs in the first two games in 2000 and in 1998. That was the team record for most runs scored in the first two games of the year. Now this will be the new record.

In 2000 we won 88 games, but in 1998 we only won 71. So, I guess scoring a record amount in the first two games in not really an indicator.

Although, that 1998 team only scored 2 runs in one of those games. So maybe scoring at a record pace is an indication of a really good season if they are balanced well.
