Is this better than those other teams have to offer?

Cavs send LeVert and Allen, along with a future first-round pick swap, to the Pelicans for Ingram.

I have to think he costs more than that? Outright 1sts instead of swaps?

You can pretty much take the Lakers out of any BI scenario unless they decide to take the Lakers pick this year as the last piece of the AD trade. Otherwise, wouldn't make sense to trade BI to them and possibly devalue next year's pick instead.

I’m not sure his value is nearly as high as it has been for the last couple years. JA is worth a 1st at least, probably two, considering NO covets him.

The gather step is stupid as hell

Imagine the best players in the world need an extra step to do something

It's just an excuse to allow traveling, nothing more. So many of those step back 3s are traveling by the old rules too.

If you really want to nitpick, those Euro steps where they drag the trailing foot to slow their momentum is traveling too, as that dragging toe is skipping across the surface of the court.

Maybe, but his value might be down for injury issues too.

The euro step is 100% a travel in real basketball, aka sub nba levels

Real basketball you can raise your pivot foot to pass or shoot. But you cannot lower it back down before doing either

Now try to take 2 complete steps without bringing your pivot foot back to the ground lol

Yep, same as the step back 3.

Different discussion. I'm referring to the post I highlighted.

I can't make it any easier for you man. I showed the post I was talking about where Hollinger stated he was "the singular driving success behind their championship" and I was calling that bullshit.

You then decided to quote that post and tried to make it about MVP. It was not about MVP. At all. Whatsoever.

It was about Hollinger saying something incredibly stupid of which his own advanced metrics would disprove.

Wouldnt fit on Phili long term. The ONLY reason that the Pelicans are trading him is that they dont want to give him the max.....which he will rightfully ask for (or really close to it).

Phili isnt going to want to hand out a max either for him.
That’s another fine point. He’s not a max player for me. In fact, I’m telling him to take a pay cut. I’d do 5 years $150 though. But fuck him if he thinks he’s getting max shit.

He is exactly what CLe needs lol

But I don’t know if you can swing it with the mitchell trade anyway
Not sure they need another guy on the sidelines and a huge salary. Position and length, absolutely. NO doesn't want to pay him and that is just too steep. JA is on a great contract.

Mobley and Ingram would be up for a contract in 25-26 so that means Mitchell will get max, Ingram will likely want max and Mobley will get max. Not even possible and you don't do this if Ingram is a rental. I think the main issue is his injury history.

Rumors that Pistons are now planning to pursue Wolves Tim Connelly for their President. Wouldn’t shock me given the turmoil with ownership in Minny.

Would be a fantastic get for a horrible franchise in a worse city

Even winning chips didn’t stop that sourpuss , hangdog face and attitude.

He would've been happy in boston

I'm gonna keep telling myself that lol
