Only way I see them possibly making this a long series is if towns shows out and avg close to 25 ppg to help Ant. Otherwise this will be quick and painless. Gentlemans sweepAnt gonna have to play like a superstar. Possible but can he do it for 3 or 4 games? Gonna be tough
The only reason they were even close in this game were the 3 pt shooters. I don't know that Zion has it in him when the Lakers are focused.Give Zion the ball and gtf out of the way…

I could see that...at least the coach. Likely he knows that.Heads will roll if they lose this series.
Deep playoff run last year, Malone allergic to his bench overall... These guys are exhausted. Lakers potentially loom in round one. Why? I’d like to hear your reasoning?
You think they would have won anyway?
It doesn’t matter is second or third?
I probably wouldn’t agree with either.
I can’t imagine them risking getting the Kings just to make the playoffs, that’s been a death sentence as well.At the end of the day, you shouldn't risk it. Just win. But given just how awful a match up Denver is for LA, it’s probably better for the Lakers to actually lose the first play in match up, avoid Denver and get the 8th seed. They're for sure a 1st round exit if they face Denver. They have better odds of making more of a run facing OKC in Round 1
All the starters rested in the 4th quarter and they have 5 or 6 days until their next game. I’d contend that Murray, who is playing great in 5 games coming off injury, still isn’t back to full playing shape, so I think it was good to get in his 20 minutes or whatever he had.Deep playoff run last year, Malone allergic to his bench overall... Energy could have been exploited at a better place than against the Girzzlies' G-Leaguers...
It was odd to me vs lakers they didn’t post him up really at all. I thought in the win vs golden st a few days ago they repeatedly went to him in the post. Today was mostly drives against multiple defenders that didn’t go well.Give Zion the ball and gtf out of the way…
I doubt there is a situation where they would intentionally lose a playoff game. But it’s not the end of the world if they lose vs pelicans. A home game vs either sacramento or golden st. Those would be tougher matchups on the road.At the end of the day, you shouldn't risk it. Just win. Sacramento is undefeated against the Lakers and Sabonis seems to be the only guy that can deal with Davis.I doubt there is a situation where they would intentionally lose a playoff game. Agreed although I think it’s more of a team effort it’s not just Sabonis vs AD. I’m not sure about Malik Monk’s status but they aren’t as good without his production off the bench. He’s 3rd on team in scoring.Sacramento is undefeated against the Lakers and Sabonis seems to be the only guy that can deal with Davis.

That was Sacramento WITH Monk, not to mention Huerter. The Kings aren't exactly that team now.Sacramento is undefeated against the Lakers and Sabonis seems to be the only guy that can deal with Davis.
That's what I figured it was, but I'm not sure he'll be good to go in 2 days.Early report is that it was a back and hip spasm caused by Nance pushing him from behind when he was trying a put back on a missed shot by D-Lo. Ham said it doesn't appear to be anything serious and he is optimistic that AD will be available Tuesday.
