Given how many first-round picks the Thunder has in June's draft, the team opted to swap a 2024 first rounder for a 2028 first-round swap. This is a solid deal, especially given the 2024 first-round pick sent out is projected to be in the late twenties, while the 2028 option could be a better selection.

I do too but even when they finally do something right the entire team becomes a MASH unit. They might as well have helicopters on the top of the Garden at this point to evac the injured.

Not sure if you’ve seen the Embiid-less Sixers but they just can’t score. A dude like Payne who can get his own shot and put 20 up on a given night plays a short term role. He likely isn’t in the playoff rotation. The Maxey Off minutes right now are an adventure. They were trying to get buckets with a group of Bev Springer Korkmaz Marcus Morris and Mo Bamba haha. That was gross! Sixers are still without Melton (back), RoCo (knee), and Batum (hamstring). No idea how this group stays afloat. Daryl whiffed on adding a Big yesterday and that could loom large.

He doesn’t really address your rebounding concerns you’ve stated but he does address something I was harping on… a vet presence in the locker room around the team. I liked it for you guys. They lost what amounts to a contract in Bertans and two developmental players that are blocked by better players at their position. The pick they gave up is likely to be in the 20s of a mediocre draft.
