He doesn’t really address your rebounding concerns you’ve stated but he does address something I was harping on… a vet presence in the locker room around the team. I liked it for you guys. They lost what amounts to a contract in Bertans and two developmental players that are blocked by better players at their position. The pick they gave up is likely to be in the 20s of a mediocre draft.

Yeah I have to think Presti has something in mind on the rebounding but we will see. Here’s the thing with that veteran point. It had to be the right type guy but I think he is. These guys are young, and as together as any pro group I’ve seen. Going to take the right type person to be able to actually make a difference. I honestly think a lot of what he can do is simply reel these guys in a little, they truly think they can do anything. I did too at that age lol.

He doesn’t shoot 30-32% from three like Bev. This deadline for the Sixers was about getting 3 pt shooting. But you’re right. Yesterday’s moves seemed assumptive that the Sixers think Lowry is coming back to:
1. His home city
2. To play for Nurse again

Right or wrong, they think Payne gives them a more offensive back up PG for the Maxey off minutes which become bigger with no Embiid. Embiid has always been on the floor during Maxey off minutes this season. Now not an option for at least 4 more weeks.
