I really dont get why the Knicks are after more guards.

They can't even give guys like Grimes enough minutes.
Grimes will be dealt most likely. Along with Fournier and picks.

Brogdon is the guard the Knicks need. A guard that plays defense next to Brunson.

The more and more I look at deals involving Tobias Harris expiring deal, I can’t find anything coming back that’s better than Tobias.

Yeah. It’s not easy.

Ideally you find a better player without moving him

But he’s still getting well over 20m in fa imo

Yep. The Sixers have little ability to keep him at that number. At 39 million his cap hold is going to erase any possibility of a cap hold on Pat Bev Melton Oubre because Maxey cap hold is a no brainer. He can be a catch and shoot player. He can take guys off the dribble. He has a reliable midrange game with multiple spots on the floor where he can work. And he’s worked really hard to become better than average defensively.

It’s the fucked up salary that has had people anti-Tobias and that’s fair. Wish they could find a way to resign him next year at the $20 mil number you cite but I don’t think there’s any voodoo magic Morey can work here.

Sure. You also said OG was going to be a Sixer as well.

How'd that work out for you?
Yeah that was a bad call by me. My shot calling right now is Lakers 10 seed level. One of these days I’ll be right.

You’d have to sign him first to lower his cap hold to his new contract

You don’t have bird rights on Beverly or oubre so you’re in the same position the nuggets were with brown this past summer except for even less money you can offer unless you clear out cap space

Someone could be a real sick and sign maxey to an easily terminating offer sheet too and tie up your cap space on that

At this point the only way they’re getting Murray is if dlo declines his option as part of the deal or they’re able to find a worse player on an expiring deal to flip him for

3rd team seems necessary. Brooklyn?

If the Wolves win one playoff series

I think the Conley for Russell swap will go down as best move in Minnesota sports history.
For the short term, yes (and I would've preferred Conley to the Lakers). Conley doesn't have a lot of runway left at 36.

Start working on that next try, lol
It was such a lame response I didn't even bother to reply.

Regardless of seeding the Lakers advanced farther than the Sixers did last season. And the same is most likely for this coming postseason.

1. Last year is over
2. You’re a Lakers fan. You have banners out the ass. It’s beneath you to flex on getting swept in the WCF.
