Fan Gal coming to the aid of the Fan Boi

Lol, i've been more critical of the Lakers than most posters on this board.

Unlike some random homer who will suck the juices out of a tramps nutsack in order to defend his precious Sixers.

Dude, you're on a roll today!!

And God Bless ya. This is where it begins and ends for you. You’re a Fan Boi. You don’t really know much about non-Lakers. Just own it. You had no idea who Melton is and what kind of game he has.
how many sixers games you think he watched this season?

Melton is a solid role player and 16 mil is usually what those guys are getting these day

I always liked him since his Memphis days

Hard to say thought for a few reasons
1) new cba

But

2) he’s one of the best FAs who has a chance to change teams

He’s better than brooks and brown who both got over 20m

Yep maybe he doesn’t get it who knows but I don’t think @fightinfunbags is wrong in thinking that’s what he gets but some players may be open to hometown discount

Pistons cut Ardiciacano and kept Flynn.

Meh either way but I'd have kept RA

Pay Melton 16-20 mill per.

The Lakers got Reaves at 4 years and 54 mill.

True. But if memory serves, he was expected to get more and folks were a bit surprised that he was signed fairly early in FA. I think he gave the Lakers a discount.

@The Q can you confirm if this is true? Heard Sixers could potentially resign Marcus Morris on the buy out market because he was traded to Indiana and then traded to the Spurs who will be the team buying him out. Because the team the Sixers traded him too isn’t the buy out team, I heard he can come back. That sounds too good to be true.

I believe that is true

It’s the last touch that matters

But not 100%

But I do think that’s true

Here's my shot I'm calling right now. The Burks/Grimes tradeoff is a negative. Burks will have days he goes off for 20 and other days where his head is in the clouds.

And Bojan is a clear offensive upgrade.. obviously

BUT

I find it interesting we knock D Lo as we do for his defense to the point of him in some circles being considered a negative asset. Yet Bojan who's nearly 35 and plays ATROCIOUS defense is the steal of the deadline?

Now...I will readily admit D Lo is easier to expose based on his position but I can see Milwaukee and Cleveland especially giving New York fits in the minutes Bojan is on the floor.

On a very poor defensive team in Detroit the defense was remarkably bad when Bojan was in...and the offense wasn't noticeably better.

So I'm going to watch for those minutes in the playoffs and see how much of a heist this was. I'm saying not much once the playoffs hit.

I’ve never put a Sixer in the trade machine more than I did Tobias Harris haha.

yes I started to type something about him maybe not being the guy but other than Murray I can't think of any trade that would work.

They'd need more than Murray from Atlanta for that though.
I’ve been convinced for a while that he is not THE guy. He’s still a very good player and can help this team, but he’s not a guy that you build the team around.
Like Stafford for the Lion, great for a fantasy team, not necessarily for a real team (yes, I know he won a Super Bowl, but he stepped into a stacked team that was right there, you could have QB’d that team to the SB).
