They’ve essentially picked Kyle Lowry over Pat Bev for their playoff guard rotation. They got another 2nd for a guy who wasn’t going to get playoff minutes once they decided to go Lowry. Payne likely doesn’t get playoff minutes either because of his defense. However, during the Embiid absence, he’s a guy that can score the ball. They really need buckets without Embiid.
