He’s talking a “godfather” offer the Cavs can’t refuse and he doesn’t include Wagner or Suggs? The deal he proposed is heavily laden on first round picks. Meanwhile…there’s uncertainty (I’m not saying he’s gone but even Cavs fans will admit uncertainty exists about Mitchell future in Cleveland) about Mitchell wanting to move on. Cleveland signals to Mitchell that they’re serious by sending out Garland the right to add 19-20 year old guys a few years from now? A Fultz expiring? This shit doesn’t make any sense from Cleveland’s perspective. If they’re dealing Garland they’re better served putting that word on the street this summer and drumming up multiple teams to get the best deal. Still doesn’t answer the Mitchell uncertainty though and possibility that you lose both Garland and Mitchell in the end. Simmons is just being a hot take guy in this clip.

I don’t think the Pacers want expiring deals and that’s what the Sixers can offer. Pompey is a local guy. He’s also a plant that will take any crumb thrown at him and be a mouthpiece. I posted this because it makes me feel like the Sixers have a better than solid chance at Hield and they’re working to find a third team right now.
