So a team is aligned the wrong way or an offense calls a play that confuses the defense, the coach can’t call a TO? It’s all strategy in every sport. If you save TO’s then the reward is you can use it if you are in a pickle. If you want to reward great defense, never give teams TO’s in general lol

Ok I got some more good stuff to add to this. The league compiles referee stats and the more bad calls you make the intensity of the zapper goes up. I just solved a lot right here. This is as old as time itself, screw positive reinforcement, negative works better.

It's possible with the way he is playing they decide to keep him. He is playing really well.

That would be an awful mistake.

We have seen enough from Dlo to know who he is.

Against bad teams like the Bulls, he plays great and makes you think the Lakers can win with him.

But he won’t be there against good teams in the playoffs.

And you know this.

That game a few weeks back against Boston (which OKC won) was eye-opening for me... I hadn't seen a full game of his for a while...

... dude looked unguardable. I saw SGA blow past the likes of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum (two strong defenders) like it was nothing.

His combination of size and explosiveness is really something.

I have to think as more fans see him play he will do better in the fan voting. Yes he has the blow by but I think his biggest strength is his ability to not allow others to speed him up. It’s kind of hard to explain but I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a player that can somehow navigate his way into the lane and get to his spots when there is seemingly no open path to get there. And he looks in control of the situation at all times.

Murray is probably a touch more athletic. D Lo probably a better shooter though.

But to me the bigger issue is if I recall they had him on Murray....There is probably a list of like 10 guys you don't want D Lo guarding in the playoffs and he is one. Shai would be another.
