Seeing Niang go for a career high last night was really cool.
Cavs did a great job identifying Niang and Strus as guys to sign. Strus- to justify the contract had to play as well as a solid starter and he has done that- and Niang to be that dependable spot up 3 pt. shooter.
Both have worked out nicely so far. Cavs needed that depth after some of their depth options last year failed. Adding Porter Jr., and Thompson to the deep bench has also helped. Merrill has been a nice find as well.
It is a deep down now- especially when healthy.
1. Mitchell
2. Garland
3. Mobley
4. Allen
5. Strus
6. LaVert
7. Okoro
8. Niang
that would seem to be a "playoff rotation"- with bit parts from Porter Jr., Thompson, Niang, Jones, Wade, Merrill.
Just gotta get healthy and somehow get all these guys to play their best together.
