But hey if Joel wants to change his perception maybe he’ll actually play in Denver for the first time in what 3 years? Crazy how he’s always more then willing to play Denver at home but seemingly something always comes up when it’s time to play on the road.

You can see why real basketball heads are in love with Jokic. That was on display tonight. He’s a humble and unassuming superstar. He just takes what the defense gives him. Smaller guy on me? Ok. I’ll just take advantage and go grab double digit offensive boards! A lot of superstars would look at the matchup and let the Name Player in the nationally televised game get in their head and dictate how they play. Jokic’s game wasn’t sexy tonight but it was damn effective. The “others” that I praised in the 1H weren’t knocking down looks or cutting as well in the 2H to let his game work. Really entertaining game tonight.
