Yeah about the OKC game, Davis commented before the game that it was an important game to end a losing streak and then they shoot over 50 percent from 3 and won.

Every single game should be an important game.

OKC and the Clippers are two of the hottest teams in the league right now and they beat them. Then they fuck up against lottery teams.

They need to get their shit together!

Well the Thunder have a 2 game losing streak to inferior teams themselves and are still on the road in Washington tonight.

Glad that it doesn’t sound like it’s worse or anything came up in the MRI.

Hero defense is improved. Brown isn’t some great defender
I just came across this article and I couldn't help but remember your post here:

Nearing the midway point of the season, Brown ranks fifth in the NBA while holding opponents to 40.5 percent shooting overall. Among the 299 players who have appeared in at least 20 games, Brown sits seventh in field goal differential, holding his opponents to 6.8 percent below expected output.

Zoom in on the 147 players who defend 10+ shots per game and Brown ranks No. 1 in opponent field goal percentage and second behind only Joel Embiid (-7.3) in differential.

I don't know what to think about this Lakers team.

They lose to the clearly-tanking Bulls but then beat OKC
Then they lose to the fucking Spurs but beat the hottest team in the league right now in the Clippers

On the bright side they have three less losses at this stage in the season than they did last year!

They show up when they're interested and invested. Hence the IST games, beating OKC, beating the Clips, losing to the Bulls, losing to the Spurs.

They do have limitations with their roster (injuries, 3 pt shooting, backcourt defense, head coach).

I don't think Ham is the problem at all.

Dude just pulled down 33 rebounds in 1 game. I don't care what level it is, that's impressive. Outside of AD, the Lakers really aren't a strong rebounding team.

Don't know how much time he'll get, but maybe he can help with that, even if only a little bit.
as we know was hurt most of the time but when he did play always thought he was a solid rebounder.

No doubt. Have you seen many Cavs games this season?

I know Garland & Mobley are injured right now but they're a much different team from last season.

What a difference better outside shooting has made for them.
I'm pretty sure this team easily beats NY last year if we had Niang, Strus, Porter and TT. Oh well.

If no one saw it take a look at the Allen block of Wemby last night (happened with a few minutes left). Just wow....and what I love is most would have been afraid of ending on a poster and likely let the kid dunk it.

Is Dray saying he clearly needed help back then too? He certainly had a penchant for nut shots.
The fact that there is a reference to the Draymond Green show could explain everything that is Draymond Green.

Allen has been playing some great ball lately- he seems that he has gotten more aggresive and tough- which was absolutely critical for him.

Cannot say, after the Mobley and Garland injuries, I thought we would be tied for 4th in the EC on January 8th. The Cavs have done a great job keeping the ship afloat.

Allen has shown if he needs to score more and even facilitate he can (so can Okoro). Need to remember this and keep the ball moving like it has when everyone is back.....no doubt need to keep winning these easier games until the guys return.
