Kobe's 1st year in the league there's a phone call set up between he and Reggie Miller. Kobe starts peppering him with questions about MJ...

"How'd you guys defend him?", "What did you try?", "How did he respond?", etc. Reggie says something like "Man, you'd try this, he'd do that, you'd switch to something else, he'd adjust again. No matter what you did, The Black Cat had an answer."

Kobe says: "Well, y'all better get ready for The Caramel Cat because he's comin'."

Reggie says "2 takeaways...1. before he was The Black Mamba, he was The Caramel Cat and 2. He was that confident, that young." lol
