He flopped by falling forward, lol. Sure, that's the thing to do. He has eyes in the back of his head apparently.
He tried to sell a call which is fine but it wasn't a foul. When you're the only one crying about it then you are the problem. You are upset because people are saying the refs made a bogus call when they awarded the Lakers timeout while the ball was loose.

If they guy with the ball is contacted from behind and ends up on the ground, it's a foul.

I'm the whiner because I pointed out that the TO call didn't matter to the people complaining about a time out call? That's some Inception level BS, lol. I'm the only one mentioning it because I'm the only non Laker-hater on the board currently.

I dont care about the lakers. They are no different to me than any other west team

@wildturkey watched the same game and said nothing about reaves getting fouled and was honest enough to admit the refs screwed up with that timeout....something you fail to do

Refs just gave lakers a bogus timeout lol

Gave them a timeout when the ball was loose.

I can understand the ref who gave them the timeout, as Reggie Miller pointed out, he couldn't see the ball. But I'd be interested to hear why the other refs didn't call a huddle so they could discuss the call. I know it's not reviewable, but it doesn't have to be for the refs to discuss what they saw to try to make sure they got it right. Especially at that point in the game.

Kind of a wash since they didn't call Reaves getting fouled either. But they have to at least huddle up and discuss it.

The only thing I can think of is the ref that allowed the timeout couldn't see the ball and saw Lebron calling timeout and the other 2 were watching the action around the ball and didn't see Lebron calling timeout. :noidea:

Without the foul, it was a blown call of course.

The replay also didn't have audio of Lebron calling time out, just his gesture for time out. Maybe he called before he signaled?

Maybe, although with the crowd noise, it would be difficult to hear. Ball was definitely loose when he first started gesturing though.

@Black Adam @trojanfan12 @DJ @Shaqdaddy11 @shopson67 @Retroram52

What did you think about the end of the Lakers game? I gotta good laugh out of it.

Looked like the refs missed 2 calls. Reaves was fouled and the ball was loose when Lebron called timeout. I understand the ref that allowed the timeout missing it because he couldn't see the ball. I can also understand the other 2 missing it if they were watching the action around the ball and didn't see Lebron.

What I don't get is why they didn't huddle to discuss it to try to get it right. It's not reviewable, but the refs can still discuss it to find out what they each saw.

That was a big mistake. Never seen a team be able to call TO without possession of the ball.

And what you said about them not discussing it. Very bizarre.

That was a great example of a play that should have been reviewed. Maybe the league should rethink which call are reviewable and which aren't.

It can't be an NBA game without a controversial blown call or two (or six) these days.

Insane lol. I get the same arena aspect so there needs to be a break between games but you couldn't do a 630 & 10 pm start?

Either that or do like the NFL and make everything reviewable in the last 2 minutes.
