Burks plays more 3 on this team offensively. Really depends on what Monty and co think they're capable of.

I'm with you on top 100. It's hard to say how he'd do with more volume and being the focus of a defense though.

Very few guys are going to be great as the focused number one scorer

All pro sports with their coach of the year are fugaze. They give coach of the year to the Little Engine That Could Coach. If your team is supposed to be poor and they’re actually decent people flip out and give that guy coach of the year.

Sure, but if Phil's rings are discounted because he coached Jordan, Pippen, Kobe & Shaq, then Spo's teams with Shaq, Wade, Lebron, Jimmy, and Bam should be as well, right?

Going to get diminishing returns on those picks, as the other GMs know they can't possibly use them all. Thunder will need to other push them down the road in trades or start handing them in bunches as sweeteners.

To me, it seems like that's how it should be though.

Phil won 11 titles and got COY once. But which of his titles was unexpected?

I'd bet that in every one of those seasons, the team he was coaching was the favorite to win the title or in the conversation.

I don't think you can give a guy COY for meeting expectations.
