He's usually an at best average offensive option. His D is amazing though.

In a vacuum, he’s not worth 2 firsts. At the same time, there’s gonna be (there is already) a lot of demand for him. I think there’s gonna be a bidding war for him. I would pay the price. Sixers didn’t come this far just to come this far. He brings a ton of things the Sixers lack, most importantly perimeter defense and secondary ball handling. Sixers need 3 more things with this group:
1. Perimeter defense
2. Secondary ball handling
3. 3 pt shooting.

Caruso in one guy at 9 million per year the next two years gives you 2.5 out of that. Historically, he’s a 37% 3 pt shooter which is good but not great.

I think Philly should stand pat and play some younger guys like Jaden Springer to see what they have in them. Springer is still only 21 years old. He may never be a great offensive player, but he may have defensive role playing potential for sure.

I really like that kid.

I like Springer too but right now he’s a small ball wing and not a ball handler. I think he can play that role but right now his offensive game is on par with Thybulle when he was here. Guys that give you little to nothing offensively in the playoffs become unplayable. I like Springer long term. I’ve been talking him up all summer. But he has a limited playoff role right now.

Stupid loss by the Nuggets tonight. Losing by 5 and shooting 25% from 3 is the exact reason they lost. Doesn’t matter that N.O. shot 52% from 3 you literally make 2 more 3’s and you win the game. You literally go 12-40 instead of 10-40 and you win the game. Awful awful loss.

Those kinds of L's happen over the course of an 82 game season.
